MD-11

MD-11 was derived from the DC-10. It's probably going to be the last tri-jet. Despite a small production run of 250 copies, its rugged design will ensure its longivity in commercial use for many years to come. It's the backbone for Fedex, UPS and many other cargo airlines around the world. Just like the DC-8, I will not be surprised to see MD-11 in active use 30 years from now.
