My son and I watched these two stallions fight for at least an hour. We liked this shot especially because you can see the light coming through the nostril of the brown horse from the other side.

Pentax K20D ,Sigma 50-500mm
Images were shot using a long lens. The mustangs were not disrupted from their normal activities. full exif

I will have to sell more stories so I may someday buy one of your prints. I grew up reading stories of wild horses, even though I am now a horror writer. You bring those stories of my childhood to life like no other. One of those stories that comes to my mind is Wild Horse Running by Sam Savitt. :)
