On of the saddest things I see over the years is the disappearance of features in the landscape that were so beautiful at one time. This little beaver pond high in the Wasatch Mountain Range was a favorite for several years until suddenly one spring it had dried up and the beaver family was gone. That was seven years ago and the beaver have never returned.
