It's the middle of a 90-second exposure when the lightning in the mountains behind me lit up the clouds. I was in the middle of a timelapse series of the milky way above the old Pony Express stone cabin in the West Desert of Utah. I now wish I have been shooting in RAW for better editing and higher resolution. The timelapse series including this photo was also quite nice.
