Seems like every time I hike to see Delicate Arch, there are more and more people there. Many are there to see the sunset and then, like me, to shoot the arch under a starry sky.
On this night, there were at least 30 photographers there after dark. Each had his or her own flashlight to paint the rock and shoot their photo. Although we all tried to cooperate and stay out of each others open shutter, it was difficult.
I waited until three a.m. to start my timelapse, but by then the clouds had moved in. All I came away with was this image shot around midnight when another shooter lit the rock with his red LED flashlight.
If you have not hiked up to see the arch, you are missing out on an amazing experience.
