Over a year ago, this beautiful palomino stallion had his left ear completely bitten off in a fight. He lost his mares and was apparently quite traumatized. As is common, a severe wound or injury will cause a stallion to withdraw to the fringes of the herd. One Ear Charlie was an outcast until just the last few months. Gradually he has regained his confidence, has recently won a female and now displays the aggression, skill and confidence necessary to survive and produce offspring.
