Over a year ago, the pinto stallion lost his entire herd of mares and was forced out from the others, to live alone in far corners of the desert. I think he must have been severely wounded enough that he could not defend himself. Geronimo, as I call him, has returned. He is healthy and strong and fighting to regain a harem of females.
