It was very cold and cloudy and early in the morning. Arriving 2 hours earlier to shoot some stars above the iconic arch, I was very disappointed as the clouds hid the stars as I waited. At sunrise, the feeble light only gave a weak shadow for a few seconds before totally returning to gloomy gray.
