Utah's High Uintas Wilderness

One of the longest one-day backpacking treks will bring you to this lake at the base of the Red Castle in the High Uintas. Two out of two of my hikes into this area in August ended when over six inches of snow fell during the night. Hopefully, this year's trip will be better.
