Above the ski resorts in Utah's Wasatch mountains, summer hikers often see bull moose grazing along the trail. This image was taken at 500mm, putting me at least four times farther away than the man in the photo, possibly unaware of the dangerous position he may have been in. Luckily, the moose was not bothered by the hiker and simply turned away and disappeared into the pine forest.
