Hi Craig: A friend in Halifax sent me your aerial pictures of Halifax. I studied them for hours each week, trying to trace out the paths of my walking tours on my too few visits to Halifax. Then I looked up your website and it takes me back to the province again - your superb photos and wonderful subjects. I would like to visit NS this year again if I can, and your photos have pretty well made up my mind. I became very interested in NS when I was stationed on the RCAF Mosquito station at Greenwood during WWII. Since that time I have been able to visit there six or seven times. On one trip about seven years ago, I tried to photograph all the lighthouses on the Evangeline Trail and I managed to find about 15 of them. As I am now 86, I don't think I will be able to enjoy many more of my favourite walks along the Halifax waterfront. I enjoy your website. Ed Hannah, Toronto

Glad you like the photos. Thanks very much for the praise. Yes, photography is fun...teaches me how to look at the world more carefully...sometime we don't spend enough time looking at the world around us. My images are generally "post processed" a little bit...maybe a bit of sharpening, brightness or contrast may be adjusted, perhaps a little saturation in one of the channels...usually minor stuff...the pictures are reasonably faithful to those coming out of the camera.

Hi, Craig. Your father sent me your web page and I'm so glad he did. What a visual treat. Yog and I are heading to Umbria in the fall and if I'm able to capture just one of your images, I'll be thrilled. The NS pictures are stunning. I'm wondering...do you touch up the color? It's obvious that photography gives you a great deal of pleasure. And I'm very envious of your talent. Nancy (neighbour from across the street in Milford)
