Valley of Fire State Park, NV

Locate 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas, Valley of Fire State Park is the oldest state park in Nevada. Prehistoric users of the Valley of Fire include the Anasazi who were also the inhabitants of Mesa Verde. Valley of Fire is a popular location to shoot auto commercials and was used for the outside Mars scenes in Total Recall. It was here that Captain Kirk fell to his death in Star Trek Generations
