Very appealing lighting, shadows and colours in this busy urban scene. Cheers, Paul

I think the crop from the left (to remove the pole) was needed.

I'd also tried a crop from the top and was waffling on that - so I didn't add that suggestion. With the top crop, you loose a bit of the feel for the train and some 'atmosphere'. On the other hand, you gain more emphasis on the people. Either way worked for me. It was a matter of what the shooter wanted to portray.

Anyway, it's always good to share differing opinions - that's where the "art" of photography really kicks in.

Sorry to be awkward, but I disagree... I think the first crop was best - now you've lost all those soft focussed elements in the background. This isn't so good. Dunc

Thanks for the hint, the tighter crop looks really better.

Very nice colors. Love the backlit people and the haloed hair. Having a few more defined people in the shot really helps too.
I think I'd crop in from the left to remove that post. It's a visual stopper for the light horizontal lines and the diagonal shadows, and the small light area to the left of the pole just sort of hangs there, unconnected to the shot.
Great capture.

Beautiful late day 'golden' lighting and long shadows. Love the soft OOF background to0 - I'd love to have a play with the 7d. Cheers, Dunc
