Thank you Bob for your useful comments. About the transition between blur and sharp grid, well the result is as macro of my camera produced in the light conditions behind the grid. The most impotant thing to me in this case was that blur and sharp areas of the EYE & the GRID must match ... and I feel the very matching is crating an impressive impact - Zahid Niaz

Very cool shot.
My first thought was that the eye should be more on a ROT point, but after trying a couple of different crops myself, I think you have it framed just the way it should be.
The eye has great detail that allow it to remain a strong subject, even behind the grid.
The only thing I find slightly disconcerting is the transition between the blurred and sharp grid below the eye. At the top, there is a very gradual transition that I like, but below the eye, it is rather abrupt.
That aside, I like this a lot - great idea and execution.

I like this very much, very imaginative. Is the grid created by a filter? Cheers, MCsaba
