Hi to both of you.

I *think* what Bugzie meant was to use Photoshop or whatever pp software you like to remove the tree branches - I don't think you want to crop either - in fact, I like it just fine as cropped.

Thanks Bugzie, sorry about the dust bunny. I'll clean that off and resubmit it, thanks, I missed it. My sensor needs a cleaning! As for cropping left, I say that a face needs space in front of it's view in composition. If you had a portrait with a profile ending at the margin, you would call for space. In this case the gables are faces. The tree limbs are subtle, natural and not distracting and in my opinion give some perspective as to place and season. You can see more of the beautiful Thai Pavilion in dpreview.com WDYSPT? of 8 April 2006. Link:http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1035&message=17986594

beautiful! makes me want to see more. but... those tree branches could be taken out. and i'd lop a little off the left, meself.

but what has to go is two faint smudges in the sky in the left upper corner. ;-) bugzie
