Don't think I'll ever be able to PP like you do. Really cool. SCox

i can see how it was done to a point. but how did you stretch the screen in the foreground? to make it gradually bigger? distort it using perspective?

technique aside, it's lovely. putting the ghosted image in the background is a nice touch. bugzie

Thanks for the comments. This was made from two shots: one was the roll of film, which was placed on glass and fixed by 3 small transparent adhesive tape pieces and backlit with a very diffuse light. The other shot was a TV screen closup, which was used after desaturation, rotation and bluring as the backround. This shot was used for the "foreground" as well: First I made a selection of the curved form and pasted the original RGB pattern into it. Then this new layer was blended with the film and its right part was blurred gradientally. MCsaba

Oh my goodness - what a creative idea! Pure genius. I am always stumped when I see images like this. I want to add some sort of pithy comment, but words fail.

Like Morey - I'd like to know how you did this.

creative idea, and beautiful shot. Can you post the orignals and a note or two on how this effect was achieved?
