Yeah I'm trying to get the best out of PS, and had exactly the same feeling about the darkness in the branches. In the future I'll setup my A200 with less contrast as it tends to over do it in bright sunshine.

would be interesting to see this with a little ps shadow/highlight to bring down the highlights and bring up the shadow detail. i like those smaller branches radiatiing at the top but they're a little lost in shadow.
