Marc, Bob, thank you for your comments. My daughters viola is one of my old photographic standby's when the conditions outside aren't so great. I hadn't noticed before, but I agree the shot is not quite straight. I had one attempt at straightening the image, but I hadn't saved any intermediate versions and working back on the original, I couldn't get back to a white balance I liked. If time permits before the end of the challenge, I may have another go.

in addition to Bob's comments, I like how the folds in the backdrop also point down to the instrument and into the image.

Very nice Richard.
I like the warm tones and the negative space works well - also, a nice take on the theme.
Shot appears ever so slightly skewed. I might try to either straighten it just a bit, or add more tilt so it doesn't appear accidental.
