I did actually mean to have him in the upper LEFT corner- like he was about to go out of the picture. It would add more tension I think.

I agree with Jeffry about the crop. I don't know if this was cropped at all, but having the skier in the upper right would seem more 'natural'...it's generally a good idea to have more open space in front of things that are moving - to give them somewhere to go.
I don't know if you could crop this shot sufficiently, without getting an almost square photo, which would also rob some of the energy.
Depending on how much PP you care do do...
The scene to the left of the jumper is not that detailed. You could extend the canvas to the left, cut a nice size block from the left, paste into the expanded canvas then clone/healing brush to blend. I took a quick stab at this, and the only real challenge would be extending the tow line.

Well timed shot- you caught him at a peak action. It might add more drama to remove what is left of the jump ramp on the right. An interesting crop might be to put him more ito the upper left corner of the picture. JeffryZ
