I've been sitting here trying to work out why I like this image so much. I think it's a combination of the sharpness of the images and changes of colour, the colours themselves - all from a palette of blue grays - and the abstractness of it.

This works well as an abstract with two parts: cool blue sky and pale cloud separated by the wing.
I'd suggest a slightly tighter crop putting the wing tip nearer the left.
