Gee, I'm a tree by Marc Baumser

Anyone with a 5 year old (from an English speaking country anyway) probably knows the joke. Let me fill the rest of you in.

The teacher say, "can anyone use the word 'geometry' in a sentence?".
One little boy raises his hand and says, "The little acorn grew and grew. Then one day said 'Gee, I'm a tree'"

ROTFLOL. (okay, not really that funny. But when your kid tells it to you, you better laugh like it's the first time you've heard it)

Mice one Marc! :-)
I first was reminded of a girl I used to know. Oops. Seriously though, I think the light is a bit harsh. Maybe a push of the mid tones might help. The stripe patterns of the acorns might become stronger, and I think that would be really nifty.
“From tiny acorns a mighty oak doest grow.”

Mice elements for the theme and the diagonal composition works also very well here. May be the light is a bit harsh. MCsaba
