Jeffry - Many of the shots in this competition use a fairly literal interpretation of "Framed" including my own entry. Yours is the most natural I've seen with regard to the subject fitting in perfectly with the "frame" in behind it. Very well done, indeed!!

Very nice indeed! It's got it all with exellent framing, plus the curved elements which together work brilliantly. It's also quite intense - something exciting is happening and the dancers concentration draws you in.

Excellent one, Jeffry. What I like most in this image is the matching archs of the dress and that of the dome in the background. Congrats !

Thank you for the suggestions. I have gone back to the original and recovered as much of the feet as I could. I was initially concerned that the white stage might be a distraction so I tried to reduce it- but I see it is not really a problem. I also finally learned another trick in PSE 3.0- dodging. I knew what it was, but not how to do it in Elements and used it to lighten her face. I think it really stands out now. Thank you again. All the circular motion draws you in to it. I am also noticing the curve of his posture fits everything as well. JeffryZ

Jeffry, Bob's got the suggestions about foot, etc, so I'll leave them alone, except I don't really mind the face being in shadow. I love what you've done with this one. It's such a dynamic and colourful shot with the movement echoing the curved frame so well and the man providing such an interesting and effective boundary at the right. Well done. John

Nice shot. I like the many framing elements here - the trees, the arch, the dress hem, the man...I wish the woman's face and shoulders were a little brighter - would have been a good time for fill flash (always easier to Monday morning quarterback :) ).
Probably would have been good to get the whole foot too.
But I do think this is a wonderful shot - well on theme, bright colors and a nicely captured moment.
Bob
