Cornhenge ~ Veronica

I think I'm spending too much time in the kitchen.

Nice shot Veronica - I really think Mashuga has a couple terrific ideas. Veggie landmarks would make a great gallery!

I LOVE the idea!!!! I think a whole series of international icons out of vegetables would be wonderful. The leaning tower out of asparagus, the Eiffel Tower out of Zucchini, the White House out of Squash. (Sorry) Anyway I think this would have even been more striking outside on a lawn or field with sky and natural light. The Henge could be shot at a very low angle to give it massive architectural qualities. Jazz up the color...make the corn pop. (I can't contain myself)
Anyway.... Bravo....

I like your idea a lot. It has a lot of repetition especially within the corn. Maybe some different lighting (from the side?), creating some dramatic shadows, could further improve this shot.

Great idea. Could almost be human with "ears" of corn and "eyes" of potatoes. I don't remember Stonehenge having a column collapsed on top of two lintels (centre bottom). I'd like to see what the composition would look like without them. I think it would emphasize the repetition of the corn teeth. Thank you Jean-Louis for the idea of shooting through diaphonous toilet paper to reduce the glare. I'm going to try that myself.

A fun idea. I would make the shot only with sweetkorns and use larger DOF. MCsaba

Veronica,
It is a very nice idea. I would change the composition to make the top 2 potatoes less symetric and move the vertical pillars more at the 1/3rd vertical line.
Also would use a softer light (e.g. flash through toilet paper to smooth out the reflections on the potatoes.
Keep at it, you are on to something.

Veronica,
fun shot. Looks like the start of a clam bake. I'd clone out some of those white specks.

Fun title and subject. I like the repetition of the vegetables at the top level and the pieces of corn at the next level. Now I wonder who posted this one ...
