Tools: the Objective and the Subjective - by MCsaba

Do you know the DDR-made Carl Zeiss 3.5/135mm Sonnar? An excellent lens, could do wonders with the Praktica cameras on ORWO slides.

Yes, good interpretation JJ. Clever idea and good title. I didn't comment last time, but the overexposed parts of the hand detract a little. The lighting on the rest is good, and even the reflection off the lens that I commented on the first time isn't a big deal.

Excellent entry. The objective mechanical lense and the murky subjective human lense that can't help but interpret what it sees. And hey, I'm OK with the reflection heating up the lens body. It's all subjective. Break the rules..break the pundits, break the mediocrity. Congrats on the fun pic. - JJ

MCsaba, been thinking about lenses? ;^)
Clever idea with good impact. The hand at the left balances the lens well, although the overall result would be a bit cleaner without so much reflection off the lower part of the lens body (where the numbers are, etc). How did you manage to create this image? I'm not entirely sure what you're saying with your title, but it's kind of catchy and if it's meant to be open to interpretation, then I'm ok with that.
