Fire Meets Water by morey brown

Agua Caliente Wash

Every now and then we get a little rain in Tucson. This was just after a storm in January and one of the arroyos had filled up. The spectacular sunsets are common, it's the water that's rare. Pretty much right out of the camera this way. All I did was reduce the size and sharpen. Glad I had my pocket F100 with me that day.

It wasn't 3 minutes after I took this shot that the water had won the battle and extinguished the fire in the sky.

nice light - makes the water look almost like a molten metal

Wow, that's not what I'd call a common sunset. The reflection in the water gives the dark foreground a good point of interest.
