Bridge Over The River Penk by Neil Paskin

Minolta 7D 1/8s f11 at 17mm iso100 24-3-05
This is a 6 shot(upright) pano, I have posted it at 1000 pixels wide but kept the file size below 200kb, so I hope this agrees with everyone.
I used Autostitch to make the pano which lost the exif data.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Nice pano indeed. There seems to a be a bend in the bridge... Is it real or is it an (optical) distortion ?

PS: Can you specify the camera type ?

Thanks for the comments. I used a polarizer and a 1 stop ND Grey Grad.

I'm usually not very fond of pano's, but I have to admit this is a real killer. Congrats !

Great shot(s) Neil! Panos can be really cool! I like the many curves and the saturated colours in this one. Did you use a filter to get the sky that blue?

Isn't there some rule about not being able to win twice in a row? :)
This one's a real contender. Great curves, sky and feeling.

Thanks Bruce, the only reason I didn't post the full pano was that I was trying to keep inside the 800 pixels on the longest edge, but I agree it is much better.

Hi Neil,

Wondeful image. And yet . . . I think the full pano is a much more startling imnage. It may have to do with the fact that I saw the pano first. Nonetheless, there are some beaufifully curvy railings in the full pano that don't make it here.

Bring on the full pano!
