This is an interesting image. But I'll play the naysayer here -- I would have preferred all color I think.

Nice image Adrian. I love the composition and agree that the selective colour makes this one, portraying Harrods as a more reserved and static pillar of London while the more dynamic and colourful traffic passes by. Cheers, John

That's a really nice one.
The selective B&W gives an irreal feeling. It works well with the year's end lighting...

thanx Claudio - not sure if this works best in all b&w (my preference i think) - which is what u commented on - or this 'mixed colour/b&w' version.

yup - the tripods are getting much more of a work out now. i had a really light small one which i carry in my coat pocket now - used here. adrianox
