Hi Alain, I like your Mmmmilk very much. The compo, the angle, the b/w effect. Wonderful idea and final image.
cheers! Michal

Thank you all for your kind words. Thanks John, for the advise on NI. Time to get the real stuff I guess... As far as the shot is concerned : If you would have seen me do it, you would laugh at me. It was already late in the afternoon, and cloudy and darkish outside. So I had to stick to 'artificial' light. I used the living-room uplighter (bent downwards of course...) and a dark grey bureau-pad as background. At full power it was not enough to allow for ISO 100 at relative high speed. The 'grey line' at the bottom-left is the reflection from a lid I used to catch the spilled milk after each trial ;-)
So now I blame myself for not having shot this one in optimal conditions. Next time better !

Amazing shot. Skim or whole? LOL

Wonderful shot Alain and perfect for this topic.
When I tried the free trial version of NI (standalone), I wasn't at all happy with the JPEG compression, over which you have no control. The full version, especially as a plugin, is great and doesn't strip EXIF data. It's my most used plugin by a long way. Cheers, John

I really like this image. A hair noisy, but you caught the moment!

I'm a fan of this kind of frozen motion fluid pics (be it water or milk or even beer ;-)). And I must say you did it very well. The black background works well with the white milk. Perhaps I'd blacken out the grey line (whatever it is) in the lower left corner, but otoh then it would be too good to be true.

You are not leaving any room for others to win, not fair.
Marvelous!
