As an industrial design student (also from the TU Delft) interested in photography it was quite shocking for me to see the library I always study so hard at to pass my exams, as an entry on this website. I do however like the composition of your shot and believe you made good use of the strong geometrical patterns. I'm considering to buy an KM A200 myself and learn more about photography, so if you are studying here in Delft (which I assume you do) please drop me a line to let me know about your experiences with the A1.

Cheers,

Michel Holper

Fantastic shot! The composition of the jet trail really highlights the theme - along with the path, the hill, and the cone! Perfect entry.

Thanks all for your comments. I didn't like the light in the first version, so I did reshoot using direct sunlight as the primary lightsource.

Good clean and graphical composition, which makes the cone-thingy stand out very well.

excellent the way the pathway mirrors the shape of the roof. the off centre composition and upwards sloping of the lawn also very appealing.

G'day Henk. This reminds me of the roof of our parliament house in Canberra; same idea. Nicely composed with plenty of interesting lines here. I would ideally have preferred brighter lighting to bring out the colours. However, nicely captured for this time of day. Cheers, John
