I wasn't sure what was going on either. Was a calm day at the lake and a boat passed by. The reflections are the other shoreline, and maybe a building (or boat)... the waves are the "curves", but yes, probably better in straight lines or reflections.
A very fascinating shot... even if I do not understand exactly what is going on. It says "straight lines" to me, but I like it the pattern and composition. Good capture
