Okay, this might be a little over the top, but what the heck! This was a really bad snapshot I took of my husband while racing go-carts with our kids. The photo was so bad that I decided to make a cartoon out of it :)

I am not a great lover of PPing to get painterly effects but with your explanation (do post the original ?) you have created a novel memory.

Hi, Jean ~ Thanks for the compliment. This is actually quite easy. Here's a tutorial that I worked from if you're interested. Michael has several easy tutorials to help achieve different effects.

It's a smiler! Neat. What tools or filters did you use to change it? (I've tried "find edges" & "charcoal" but with mediocre results, so I'm impressed.) = Jean
