With such creatures it more the feeling os latent energy.

But a good image taken under what I surmise are difficult conditions (lighting etc)

Nice job. These are fascinating creatures. I notice some dark corners. Perhaps you might want to crop them out.

Hi Jean. YOu have captured the feeling of smooth and powerful. However, your photo does not suggest an impulse of energy for me. The little darting fish, on the other hand, are more what I see the theme being about, but of course they are not the subject of your photo. Cheers, John

Aren't they amazing! We were snorkeling off the coast of Maui last summer and two of them swam right up to us. Beautiful and powerful creatures. Thanks for sharing :)

This was shooting into a multi-story aquarium in a hotel on Waikiki, Hawaii. There were several Mantas, and they seemed to convey smooth power and energy in contrast to the little darting fish. - Jean
