Birds taking flight are not the easiest to get even with the very short shutter lag of the A1 or A2. But well captured and PPed certainly has a burst of energy.

Thanks John for the comment and for the tip. I did some work to the picture to give it a bit more 'impulse' so here is the new version.

Hi Mattana. I agree with the first comments (from Bruce?). Great timing here, although I don't get so much sense of an impulse as a smoother release of energy. A polarising filter cuts down undesired reflections to provide deeper skies and clearer pictures in sunlit scenes. The vignetting must be due to some other filter, perhaps a UV filter being used for lens protection(?), but helps with framing here. Cheers, John

Nice beginning to the competition. Did you use a polarizer? The viginetting draws the eyes to the bird. The highlights are just a tad blown here and there. Otherwise, nice job.
