Thanks Roger. I have been to Canyon three different times.I never tire of it's beauty.

Linda
This brings back memories - I think I stood near the same spot but did not capture such dramatic lighting. You seem to have picked up some noise in straightening the horizon, but the picture still evokes being on the edge of a different environment.

Hi Linda, a beautiful western landcape. Very nice colors and shades in the rocks and great clouds.

Hi Linda,
That's very nice. I usually have problem with my horizon so I think I will follow Claudio's suggestion about turnig grid on.
Cheers

Hi Linda,

Great image and the contrast between the cloudy sky and the ocre rocks is beautiful. I did not see it before, but now the horizon looks very good to me.

I have the grid turned on all the time in my A1 for this reason since if possible I prefer to capture it straight to start with... don't know if you camera has it, but I suspect so since it so similar to the A1

Thanks for your comments. I have repost the image. Let me know if this is better. This is one area that I struggle with.

Stunning edges! Nice contrast. I'm just a bit distracted by the horizon being not straight.
Cheers
