The closeness of the housed to the waters edge makes this and interesting shot. I like the pale colors also.

Very nice photo - almost like a water color. Must be a beautiful city. This would really be worth shooting at various times of day to see what haapens to the reflection in the canal.

Nice composition. The angular lines do emphasize the theme. Another interpretation.
