G'day Alain,
Great idea perfectly done right down to the title. Very apt take on the theme that I would not have thought to do. Very well done.
Cheers, John

Hi Fred,

You have no idea how big a complement you made. Pink Floyd is an old time favourite of me (and still is). Must be getting old, I guess ;- .... "Dark Side Of The Melon" * LOL *
Thanks !

Alain

Very nice job with light, shadow, form, texture and colour. Could have been the cover of a Pink Floyd-album. Well done.

Talk about the red planet! Looks just about ready for deep core exploration ;-) The texture really stands out in conjnction with the simple clean line, and the very interesting composition. Nice idea

It works for me. I like the planet-like shading of the melon set against the blue background. But the texture is what really makes it interesting.

What? By your title I want to say Lucy in the sky...but no diamonds.Ummm...sort of a yet to be discovered planet? Hey, I had one for breakfast!
Seriously, this is a near PERFECT capture of a cantalope's skin. You've photographed it well, emphasized the colors well, cropped it well & framed it well. I love it. Wish I shot it.
