Anthurium by Sherryl

I used a Kodak DX 6490 to take this photo. I don't know why the information did not come through when I uploaded the photo. I will appreciate all your comments and hints. Thanks for looking, Sherryl

Great shot- use to grow these yrs ago in our greenhouse.Beautiful color. I do miss having a greenhouse.

Hi Sherryl,

Gorgeus colors! Since you ask, to meet the size limitations in PS7 do this:

- with original image loaded in PS select Image->Image Size

- Make sure Constrain Proportion and Resample Image checkboxes at the bottom are selected (Bicubic)

- Then type 800 in the longer dimension, with pixels as the unit

(At this stage I would normally do another pass of sharpening, but it's up to you)

-Then do "Save as", selected jpeg, and in the jpeg save dialog selected Image quality at 4 or 5

With the Preview checkbox selected, you can see how much you can lower the quality without seeing any visible effect on you image.
