Yes I did happen to go out on a bike tour with my wife. How in the world did you find out??? ;-) I carry my A1 in a Crupler Talee bag (I think it is an Australian brand). It is a shoulder strap bag that fits the A1 incl. battery grip, filters, memory cards, cables and has a secret padded compartment for 3 small interchangable lenses for my future DSLR ;-) It is very well padded. I fell on a bike tour 2 weeks ago and the A1 was totally unhurt (unlike my knee and shoulder)
Thanks Niamh,
I think the bright colours (especially the blue) are thanks to the blue blocker sunglasses my wife was wearing. They filter out the blue light and make everything appear much brighter and colourfull. I shot this one in Marcro mode. You can see how shalow the DOF was by checking the edges of the curved sunglasses.

I like the bright colours and touch of humour in this one. Looks like you were both enjoying yourselves. :) Glad to see you remembered to take your lens hood on your cycling trip!!

Hi Smatty,
Interesting composition with the lens/hood becoming the pupil. You weren't out cycling at the time by any chance, were you? ;o) How do you carry your camera?
Cheers, John
