Such a great realisation. The idea is simple and therefore powefull. I tried to take a similar one for the fun of it but could achieve the same simplicity. Maybe it is my car's problem...

Great idea and great shot! Could I suggest that it would be even better if you cropped (or cloned) to remove the distracting coloured bit at the lower right and enhance the almost monotone effect. If the original is bigger, I would like to see you start with that one and rotate it clockwise a bit before cropping so that you don't lose the bottom of the left 'sail'.

Well, I have to admit I wouldn't have guessed it either. Part of the problem is you don't know exactly the scale of these things. Btw there was only done some curves and cosmetic repairs. Thanks for the kind words and... keep guessing ;-)

Alain, ok so we have the title, but do we have the make and model? LOL, i too have been looking at this for a while now and i cant figure it out, you'd do well to stay shtum on this, until someone guesses correctlly, see how far it goes. Oh, nearly forgot, excelent capture, wish i had the eye for this sort of shot.

This is beautiful, Alain! I've been gazing at it for ages and still haven't exactly worked out what it is despite your title! However that's part of the fun, because it creates so many associations in the mind's eye... and I really like the "almost mono" feel...
