5 Minutes of Revolving Fun *by Smatty

I took this picture at the Hamburg fair. Many happy kids faces crossed my eyes. Taking the real "Challenge" from Claudio, I decided on a picture "without incorporating a person"

From John down under:
Hi Smatty,
Another great shot! Well conceived and executed. Maybe not as joyful as your other ride. Both are difficult without people, but you have done well.
Cheers, John

Smatty,
Great idea and excellent photo. I really like this.

Hi DSL,

this is a ferris wheel, so it was moving very slow. I only got this dynamic blurr effect by using a long exposure, while keeping the cam still on a tripod.

I did take this picture at different speeds, the longest at 3 seconds. At that exposure speed, it looks like the wheel is really speeding...

Sorry Smatty, i should have said, how fast was the wheel moving.
I myself was attempting to get a person-less shot as was dared, i do have one other in mind, but i've submited my 3 for now, just sit back and wait.

Hi DSL,

I took this picture at 1.6 sec at f11.

I had this idea in my head for some time, too. I did not want to use a person for this theme, as Claudio dared us not to ;)

I am glad that time and weather worked out.

Smatty, love this shot, what speed was it taken at? You've beaten me to this, i've been waiting for the traveling fair to come to my town since this challenge started, i knew the shot that i wanted, but wasnt going to say, but you appear to have stollen my thunder, dont know if i could have caught it as good as this anway.
