Love this shot. Great action, and nice lines. Really good composition, with foreground, subject and background, divided into thirds. This is my pick for first place.

Wow, I bet this was difficult to shoot! The light is nice and there is a good "action" feel, the skill of the surfer also being obvious. I might have gone for a closer crop on the surfer, perhaps...? Not sure. :)
