Nice pano! This would have been even better if you could get rid of everybody except the priest.

Good panorama and well thought out theme idea. Some distraction take away from the picture. The strong lighting of two pillars competes with the man. There is a tilt to the frame that looks unnatural to me.

From Cruz to Claudio Gatti

I’m glad you liked. I really am :)
I’m saying this because I started to do panos after reading same of your posts in DPR forum (you have same great panos).

Yes, this is a pano (Minolta A1 - ISO400 - 5 pics - 1/20s - f3,5 - AS - handheld). I have made this just for fun and it ended like this. The idea for this pic came when I sow a man locking up inside this church / monoester (Mosteiro dos Gerónimos Lisboa) and I thought that will be interesting to create a picture that shows this man and what he is seeing.
The title that you suggest “alone with God” is great (why I didn’t thought in that :\ ) choosing a name or a title for a specific picture that express what I feel about the scene is hard to do in Portuguese (my mother lang) now imagine doing that in English.

Cheers.

Hi Cruz,

Great perspective. Is this a vertical panorama? Initially, altough I like the shot, I did not get the connection with the theme... then came up with: "alone with God" which is a reasonable feeling when you visit one of those imposing cathedral.. the title must be to tease me to find the "aloness" ;-) not sure, but I like this photograph

What kind of lens did you use for this picture?!

All these people in the frame do not make you feel alone, maybe you should try to PhotoShop them out?
