The shallow DOF with the TCON converter is great here...I love the 3D feeling of the branches. Yes...where's the bird?

Steve, I agree with Jim. Is there a bird there? it is a little hard to see. Love the delicate branches with flowers.

Hi Steven, technially I think your photo is flawless, good capture of nature, yet a bit difficult for me to get the theme of "alone" out of the shot! Cheers, Feri

Hi Jim. Thanks for the analytical eye. I have done my ultimate PhotoShop best to blur the background more. Tell me if you like it better. I am not sure, I liked the mess in the original as it shows the abundance of spring.

There is a lot to like here. Nice DOF control and good detail on the nest twiggs and flower. The downside is the bird (there is a bird there, isn't there?) is hard to see. Also the background blends with the foreground rather than providing good contrast. Some things you can't control.
