Hi,
I suggested to get rid of the rope, you could not see where it was going.
The boat is clearly stranded so it does not go anywhere. Ideally the rope would
be attached to the boat, but lying loose in the water. But this is too much
hairsplitting for a beautiful picture.

Hi Jackson,
I personally think you original shot with the rope is much better. In this version the boat "floats" in the frame and it's less visually interesting , while the rope "anchors" the boat in the frame and introduces some tension.
