300mm plays havoc with perspective so I guess this guy has plenty of room to sail, is he jumping off the waves? You've made a dramatic photo with all that chaotic surf, though I'd like to play with various crops(just to see:)
Well Nigel, I really don't know what is happening here. I suppose if he were falling, he would let go of that big sail. I will assume that he managed to keep things together which I would imagine is the point. Nice frothy white surf, I would imagine it is difficult to expose without blowing the highlights. I like the view of the waves rolling in the background. The waves and the sky are nicely color-coordinated with the complementary shot of yellow and red in the almost center. Very good image, well captured.
