Super expression, and I like the hands. I agree about the geometry of the chairs and that angle, and I think the central column (being not-quite-upright) adds a touch of edginess to your "concerned" theme.

I think the child is explaining to grandad that it's perfectly safe to fly in a plane without propellers. Nice light on the child's face and you get a good sense of how small the toddler is against the adult. Nigel

Ahhh.. the curiosity of a child - and the necessity of keeping them from harm while exploring the world... Excellent capture!

Thank you for the comment. I'm surprised you can pick out so much from this little candid of mine. This was indeed taken at an airport, and the man is probably cautioning the child for leaning against the glass window.

Hello 843,
Is this at an airport? Hard to tell. Those nice looking houses seem a little too close for that. This is an interesting image, backlit but still quite visible in that you can see the expression on the child's face. The geometry of the chair arms works nicely with the slanted sides of the stairwell on the opposite side. I do think that the post in the middle is a bit distracting but I probably would have put it in the "too hard to clone out" basket. I wonder what the man is saying to the child? Nice shot.
