Compositionally, there is a nice echo of the dark foreground in the clouds; which is opposed by the peak and the snowline... makes for a satisfying photo! Bravo Dave, how high did you climb?

No polarizer ... maybe because of the altitude ... the peak is somewhere around 6000 meters.
