Yes, this is Niagara Falls, Dave. This is the American Falls and Rainbow Bridge - I wonder where it got it's name?
The Canadian (Horseshoe) Falls is to my right and slightly behind me as I took this one. The mist from the Horseshoe Falls (which can be seen all over the right side of the picture) was so heavy it was like a rain shower. I had the camera in a plastic bag with just the lens protruding, and we were just soaked by the time I got the shot.
I agree; this is a spectacular shot and is well presented with the rainbow standing out sharply and the foreground trees assisting the sense of scale. Nigel
