I have missed the Front Range, it's rugged mountains and the clouds that present new patterns each moment. I knew of this lone clump of trees and felt they would be a good foreground for the cloud formations. I stopped along the road and took several quick photos before I noticed the hawk perched on the branchs. It's been a good day and may be back in my condo by tomorrow night after almost nine months.
