Most of us want to know and understand what we see. Looking at this abstract image we will ask the question, “What is it?” When we move in close we are not always able to see the whole picture but only a smaller part. Once we step back we are better able to see the whole picture. This is so true in life. In this case I used a macro lens to close in on the patterns of my table lamp. We see shadows and texture which makes for an interesting shot and asks a good question.
